Hello! I am pleased to share a little bit about who I am, and how this all came to be!
In 1969 I walked into a book store in Santa Monica, California looking for some reading material about psychic abilities. I purchased a book about psychic phenomena that led to another, which led to several more until I discovered my first books about Magic(k) and Witchcraft.
I was completely and totally mesmerized, and felt quite at home with all that I read. You see, I was raised with absolutely no religion and visited many different types churches with other children in my neighborhood when I was growing up. The churches I visited never seemed to make sense to me, and in 1969 I found out why.
I was very secretive about my new-found adventure. The word “Wicca” had never appeared anywhere in my studies until many years later. For sometime, I enjoyed many chants, incantations, spells, and anything having to do with “Witchcraft” studies. I was starting to obtain real results with my experimentations, (and many failures as well) although I never kept a written record, which I regret to this day.
Skipping ahead…I was married, packed my books away, had two children, and never told anyone about my secret life. Then something miraculous happened…20 years later!
My daughter at age 18, came home and said she had something to share with me. Reluctantly she told me that she had been practicing Wicca in a coven! My face lit up with amazement! No, she never saw any of my books which were still packed away, some of them lost, and I never shared any of those things with either of my children… until then!
The rest is history. No more secrets within my family about my beliefs, or theirs! Now, here I am, an old Crone, writing, sharing, and learning more everyday! There was never a single day that I gazed up at the Moon and saw only a planet!
